“In these latest paintings, Knight presents us with a visual Trojan Horse. At first glance, the viewer is seduced by a “sweet” aesthetic—vibrant, decorative, and reminiscent of high-end wallpaper or the polished surfaces of luxury design. But beneath this lush, placid exterior lies a “salty” subtext: a rigorous interrogation of the synthetic self in a digital age”.
